A massive tag match featuring massive men headlines the Sept. 5 edition of WWE SmackDown.
John Cena joins a bevy of marquee names in the top match. Titleholders Paige, Dolph Ziggler and Jimmy Uso also seek victories as the road to Night of Champions continues.
Fans who packed into the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska, already know how all the action unfolded.
Everyone else has to either read the results on the Internet or wait until SmackDown airs on SyFy on Friday night at 8 ET/7 CT. For those who will chose the latter route, the following is a non-spoiler look at all the matches to expect on the show.
Dolph Ziggler vs. Cesaro
Both men are booked for midcard title bouts at Night of Champions.Ziggler will defend the Intercontinental Championship against The Miz. Cesaro will challenge Sheamus for the U.S. title.
Only one of these foes can gain momentum for their championship showdown at the Pinnacle Bank Arena.
WWE has had no issues in the past with pinning non-title losses on itsmidcard champions. It has also limited Cesaro's wins of late.
Per CageMatch.net (link contains spoilers), Cesaro was just 3-10 in televised singles matches in July and August. That includes a quick loss to Ziggler himself on the Aug. 4 edition of Raw.
